Ted Reinstein presents Greetings from Breed’s Hill: Fact & Folklore on America’s 250th, Monday, 11/9 at 6 pm.

Don’t miss this fast-paced, fun, and informative look at some of the unique stories he’s done on the Revolutionary War period and later history. These stories originally caught his eye because, in most cases, they involved famous, even iconic, moments in our founding history from an angle often overlooked. Schoolchildren still learn about Paul Revere’s famous ride, but few know it wasn’t free and that Revere later submitted a detailed expense report to the Continental Congress (which tried to stiff him).

The Friends of the Acushnet Public Library sponsor this program.
