Coffee House
If you’re looking for a fun night out with your valentine, the Women’s Alliance of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Fairhaven is presenting The Green Street Band in a coffeehouse-style setting from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 15.
This six-piece band of local musicians plays a mix of popular cover tunes from the ’50s and beyond, along with some originals by band leader Paul Hadfield. The band’s name reflects that three members live on Green Street.
In addition to Hadfield (vocals/ guitar), the members are Bruce Benson (lead guitar), Carl Soares (bass guitar), Dave Medeiros (acoustic guitar/vocals/harmonica), Frank Cairns (lead rhythm guitar/ vocals), and John Pacheco (drums).
All seats are first-come, first-served. Doors open at 6:30. Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, at the door. Coffee, tea, and sweets will be available for purchase.
The parish house at 102 Green St. is handicapped accessible via a ramp off the Center Street driveway. For more information about the church, call 508-992-7081 or visit uufairhaven.org.
