Take Home Craft Story Time: Looking for a craft to keep your kiddo busy with creativity? Pick one up from the library!
This week we’re starting to do take-home-crafts story times. If you’d like to order a Mouse Paint Craft Kit, fill out our online form at MillicentLibrary.org. All supplies are included, best for ages 3-8. We will call you when your kit is ready for pick-up.

Chess Basics: Caught up in “The Queen’s Gambit” hype and want to learn chess? Join Nolan DeMott on Wednesday, March 17 at 7:00 as he takes you on the beginning of your chess journey. Learn the basics of chess, as well as fundamental chess principles. This one-time session will get you started on what you need to know in order to start playing chess and checkmating your opponents.
The Millicent Library has a limited number of chess sets available to checkout for Fairhaven residents. These game sets can be checked out on the SAILS online catalog at www.sailsinc.org by searching for “classic chess.” You can also call or email the library at 508-992-5342, Millicent@SailsInc.org.
