Fairhaven got 9.5 inches, Acushnet go 10 inches and New Bedford got a whopping 13 inches in the last snowstorm on February 9–10.
Other areas of the state got up to 19 inches of snow, in the middle and western parts of the state. The Cape topped out at 10 inches in Orleans.
Heavy winds accompanied the storm, but only sporadic outages were reported.
Schools were closed for both Thursday and Friday, and many other events were cancelled.
More snow is expected for Thursday, but might switch to rain.

The ongoing foolishness with the town parking lot at Fort Phoenix continues. The gate was closed, the lot was not plowed on 2/10 at about 2 p.m., hours after the snow had stopped. The lot, under the control of the town, not the state, is adjacent to the town property at Fort Phoenix. Residents have complained for years that the gate is open inconsistently. The Public Works Department and Police Department swap blame for the lack of access. The gate is not locked, however, and can simply be pushed open in the morning. The state side was open and plowed, and the walkway o the hurricane barrier was also cleared for walkers. Beth David photo
