Acushnet held its 40th annual Apple-Peach Festival this weekend at the Long Plain Museum on Main Street. The rain mostly held off for the event, but they did get a sprinkle on Saturday. Vendors said Saturday’s crowd was kind of light, but Sunday was pretty crowded. The event features lots of interesting vendors, food booths, and entertainment. The history museum is also open during the festival.
