Apple Peach Fest & Pageant
The Acushnet Apple-Peach Festival, celebrating 43 years, on Sat. & Sun., 9/7 & 9/8, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Long Plain Museum, 1203 Main St., Acushnet. Great entertainment, crafts, food and fun! Free parking and admission. Shuttle bus from Acushnet Middle School.
Parade on Sun., 9/8 at 10 a.m., starting at Pope Park, along Main Street to the fair grounds.

Watch local people compete for the title of “Miss Apple Peach,” at a pageant 9/6, at 6:30 p.m. at Ford Middle School, 700 Middle Road.
