Acushnet held its seventh annual Cruise Night on Thursday, 8/25, in the center of town. Main Street was blocked off around the Parting Ways Green and got filled up with old cars and oldies music. Local organizations sold food and people danced to the music of The Klassics, or just milled around looking at cars, talking about old cars, or sat in lawn chairs taking it all in.
The event is sponsored by the Town of Acushnet and the Acushnet Celebration Committee. Music was sponsored by the Acushnet Policemen’s Association.
