Acushnet’s Apple Peach Festival has been canceled. The weekend has always known as the weekend for yard sales. Driving along Main Street to get to the festival, drivers would see house after house with yard sales. This year, a group of residents has decided to promote a town-wide yard sale the weekend after Labor Day, Sat. & Sun., 9/11 & 12, the traditional dates for the two-day festival.
