The town of Acushnet has been actively searching for a new Town Administrator, as James “Jamie” Kelley is retiring. Mr. Kelly was supposed to end his employment with the town on June 30, but has stayed on while the town finds his replacement.
Selectboard chairperson, David Wojnar, said that the town has been receving resumes and reviewing them.
He said they had to re-advertise after the first round which did not “yield candidates that would be a good fit.”
“It’s a fluid process but hope to get more candidates over the next week or two,” he said in an email on 7/23.
