In accordance with the Secretary of State Regulations 47.12 and under the provisions of section 7(k) of Chapter 115 of the Acts of 2020, the Town of Acushnet will be opening and depositing early voted ballots received up until Thursday, October 29th on Friday, October 30th at 9:00 a.m. at the Parting Ways Building, 130 Main Street.
A second session will be held on Saturday, October 31st beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Parting Ways Building, 130 Main Street for ballots received from Friday, October 30th.
A third session will be held on Monday, November 2nd beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Parting Ways Building, 130 Main St. for ballots received from Saturday, October 31st and Sunday, November 1st.
As the Town Offices are open limited hours (Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. to the public, we, respectfully ask that observers register by emailing plabonte@ acushnet.ma.us or calling the Town Clerks Office at 508-998-0215 in advance of all processing of early voted ballots sessions.
In accordance with the Regulations 47.12 and the provisions of section 7(k) of Chapter 115 of the Acts of 2020, no results shall be determined or announced until after the time the polls close on November 3rd. At that time the results from the advance processed ballots will be added to the Election Day results and posted in a public place.
