The Acushnet Town Clerk’s Office reminds residents that all eligible voters (age 18 and older) must be registered by Friday, November 7th, at 5:00 p.m. to participate in the Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School District Special Election on Tuesday, November 18th, held at the Acushnet Elementary School gymnasium from noon to 8:00 p.m.
Absentee ballots are available through 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 7th, for qualified voters who:
• Will be absent from town during voting hours,
• Have a physical disability preventing in-person voting, or
• Observe religious beliefs preventing voting that day.
Voter registration and absentee ballot applications are available at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; Tuesday: 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; Friday: 8:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. (extended to 5:00 p.m. on November 7th)
