The Town of Acushnet will hold a Rabies Clinic on Sun., 3/12, at the Town Barn/Recycling Center from 9 a.m. to 12 Noon.
PLEASE NOTE: This is the weekend that Daylight Savings Time starts…remember to set your clocks AHEAD.
The rabies vaccines will be administered by Dr. Gaumont & her staff for the Acushnet Animal Hospital for a fee of $10 per animal. The Town Clerk and Staff will also be available to issue 2017 licenses.

If you bring a certificate proving that your dog or cat has been vaccinated at some point in its life, whether it is up to date or not, ACUSHNET animal hospital is offering a three-year rabies vaccine for the same $10 fee.
2017 DOG LICENSING DEADLINE
THURSDAY, MARCH 31, 2017
Dog owners, who fail to license any dog (indoor and outdoor) by March 31st will be assessed a $25.00 citation and a late fee of $15.00 beginning April 1st. If you no longer own your dog, or if your dog has since been deceased, please contact the Town Clerk’s Office prior to April 1st to avoid any unnecessary fees.
The Clerk’s Office is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m and every Tuesday evening until 8:00 p.m.
