Town-Wide Yard Sale

Acushnet’s Apple Peach Festival has been canceled. The weekend has always known as the weekend for yard sales. Driving along Main Street to get o the festival, drivers would see house after house with yard sales. This year, a group of residents has decided to promote a town-wide yard sale on the weekend after Labor Day, the traditional dates for the two-day Apple Peach Festival. 

Those who wish to participate can  add their homes to the liste at https://forms.gle/UDPo2Wbf4v8TtLUD6 

One week before (on 9/5), the list will be compiled and posted on teh All Things Acushnet Facebook group. 

Volunteers Needed

Acushnet Grange is havng an agricultural and craft fair on Sat., September 25. We are looking for local crafters with homemade items, vendors to sell jams, jellies and baked goods, and farmers who would like to sell vegatables, fruits, or flowers. The fair will be held at the Acushnet Grange Hall, Main St. from 10am to 3pm. Cost of 10 x 10 booth is $25. Please contact Caroline at cornerstone_88@comcast.net or call 508-763-2795 for application or questions.

The Grange has been seving Acushnet for over 100 years and is a family oriented non-profit organiza­tion which promotes agriculure, natural resources and community service.

COVID Testing

Due to the rise in COVID cases, the Town of Acushnet has decided to continue with COVID testing on a weekly basis until further notice. The testing will be conducted every Saturday from 9 a.m.–12 noon in the trailer located at the rear parking lot of the Council on Aging and Senior Cente, 59 1/2 South Main Street in Acushnet… all are welcome.

Vaccination Clinic

The state will be back in Acushnet for another local clinic on Sat., 9/11, from 9 a.m.–noon, at the Council on Aging/Senior Center, 59 1/2 So. Main St., Acushnet. Second doses will be administered on 10/2. 

No charge, residency not required. All you need to do is roll up your sleeve!
