From Acushnet Fire & EMS Department Facebook page
Each week, usually on Fridays at 6:15 p.m., the Town of Acushnet sends a recorded phone message to residents providing an update on Covid issues. Current data, testing information and reminders of personal protective practices is provided.
As we move deeper into the crisis we want to ask: are these weekly calls useful? Is there additional information you would like to know?
If these calls are to have value we need to step back and make sure they are achieving their goal.
We know there is sometimes a technical hitch with a delay before the message begins. We are working on that with the provider.
Please don’t be shy. We want this service to be of value to the residents of Acushnet.
