The Acushnet Public Library is pleased to announce our new Library Director!
Elisabeth Botelho brings with her 20 years of library experience. Elisabeth’s library career started at the Mildred F. Sawyer Library at Suffolk University. She held various positions in circulation, interlibrary loan and serials.
Her public library experience started at Acushnet Public Library, while attending Simmons University. She received her M.L.I.S in December of 2019. Shortly after, she became the Head of Circulation at the Millicent Library in Fairhaven.
Elisabeth is excited to return to Acushnet and looks forward to serving the community once again. She encourages patrons to stop by and say hello!
Outside of work, she can be found walking with her dog on local nature trails or spending time with her two troublemaking cats.
