On February 3, the Acushnet Fire Department started a new feature on its Facebook page to introduce each of their members to the public. This week we meet Brian Donohoe.
What do Boston, Wareham and Acushnet have in common? Meet Brian Donohoe. Brian was born in Boston and began his career as a Call Firefighter and EMT in Wareham in the mid 1980’s. In the mid 1990’s, Brian attended the full-time Recruit Training Program offered by the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy and also became a Paramedic.
Beginning in 1998, Brian Donohoe was a full-time Paramedic for the town of Wareham. If you know EMS, you know that Wareham has a very busy and effective service. In 2011, with glowing recommendations from pretty much everyone he ever worked with, Brian joined our department as a part-time Paramedic. We quickly determined that Brian had the skill level, maturity and temperament that would make him a leader here in Acushnet. He was hired as a full-time member of our department in 2013.
With time comes experience, and during his time in EMS Brian has accumulated a boatload of experience!
We are fortunate to have a seasoned, competent and friendly professional serving this community. Acushnet, this is Brian Donohoe.
