The Acushnet Democratic Town Committee held its first stand out in Acushnet on 7/18/26 at Pope Park to protest the Trump administration’s authoritarian tactics. More than 50 people attended the peaceful protest to “teach, reach, preach.”
The Committee posted a thank-you on Facebook to those who attended and to neighboring DTCs. “to have over 50 people bring “good trouble” to our deep red town means the world!” they wrote.
