Notice is hereby given that the Acushnet Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall Meeting Room, located at 122 Main Street, Acushnet, Massachusetts for an
Amended Notice of Intent for a Ground Mount Solar Energy Generation and Storage Project by New Leaf Energy, Inc.
New Leaf Energy is filing a request for an amendment to an existing Order of Conditions issued by the Acushnet Conservation Commission in January of 2021 for a ground mounted solar and energy storage system. The system is proposed to be located on Assessors tax map 17, 24B and 24C. The project has been relocated to avoid newly delineated wetland areas and reduced from 28.7 acres to 20.9 acres within the fenced area.
