Abolition Row Park, across the street from 21 Seventh St., NB, will officially open with a ribbon-cutting on Fri., 6/23, at 1 p.m., when a statue of Frederick Douglass will also be unveiled. The New Bedford Historical Society is housed at 21 7th St., the Nathan and Polly Johnson House, where Frederick Douglass spent his first years as a free man.
