New Bedford Art Museum/ Artworks! is excited to provide the artMOBILE for its 25th summer! The artMOBILE vans will be rolling around New Bedford through August 21.
Operating much like a bookmobile, the two purple vans, each with two experienced art educators, engage children with fun educational art activities at community sites across New Bedford.
• Mondays: Riverside Park and Keith Middle School, 11-11:45 a.m.; Carney and Lincoln schools, 12:30–1:15 p.m.
• Tuesdays: Clasky Common Park, 10 a.m.–noon.; Fort Tabor, 1–3 p.m.
• Wednesdays: Ruth Street Common 10 a.m.–noon; Ashley Park, 11–11:45 a.m.; Hayden-McFadden and Campbell schools, 2–2:45 p.m.
• Thursdays: Eddie James Park and Hazelwood Park, 10 a.m.–noon; Harrington Park, 1–3 p.m.
• Fridays: Buttonwood Park, 10 a.m.–noon; Roosevelt Middle School, 12:30–1:15 p.m.; Gomes Elementary School, 2–2:45 p.m
