2nd Annual AHA! Pride goes VIRTUAL!
After a break-out inaugural year, AHA! Pride is happy to announce that we are bringing the block party experience directly to your home. Curated and coordinated by the Queer Arts Council of New Bedford, in partnership with AHA! and the South Coast LGBTQ+ Network, this year’s AHA! Pride Digital Block Party will stream live for Virtual AHA! (Or VAHA! for the cool kids).
This experience is possible thanks to the generous support from Mass Cultural Council’s Festival Grants and the New Bedford Creative’s placemaking grant, Wicked Cool Places. Without their commitment to creative problem solving in the arts during COVID-19, we wouldn’t be able to bring you a jam packed show!
The lineup includes amazing drag queen performances by Queens of the South Coast’s Crystal Diamonds and Jaihla Rhodes, our drag sisters up in Boston: Secret Queen, Kirbie Fullyloaded, Robin from Human Resources, and Binx, and performances by 3rd EyE Unlimited’s CHANWTHEPLAN and Shanai Nadia.
But that’s not all — Rose Noir and Teresa Kochis will dazzle with circus and aerial arts, and lastly, we’ll dance the night away with our lineup of DJs Daniel Sevelt, Kai Xavier, and Andy Anello!
