Responding to Trump Supporter
Dear Mr. Pond: I am looking at two letters from you in the Fairhaven Neighborhood News. Oh my, now we are blaming everything on the Chinese. Did not Mr. Trump call the virus a “hoax” as early as January? Wasn’t the Chinese PM still his best buddy at the time? Being buddies with Mr T. is not always a good thing: if you disagree with him on any issue he fires you, does not know you, etc. I might not always agree with my friends but I do remember who they are.
Look at Twitter — you have to love it. Mr T. tweets morning, noon and night. They disagree with him on one issue and now he wants to stop them. In the meantime he is still rambling on Twitter. He is also telling us that it is all right for him to vote by mail, but not for you and for me. Twitter is now “stifling free speech.” Oh my again!
I did listen to Governor Cuomo frequently. The man did make sense when he spoke about all the issues affecting New York. Unfortunately he did not have President Obama and his magic wand available.
Going back three weeks: you still feel that Mr T. is a successful businessman. But we really don’t know how much he actually owns/ owes on all the enterprises you mentioned. \
I just read a Reuters report that the Deutsche Bank is one of the largest creditors for Trump and his family. This is the largest, or almost the largest, bank in Germany. U.S. senators requested a report from the bank on Trump’s business dealings with them. The bank will not provide any information because I believe that they are embarrassed to let the public know how much money they let him borrow. Is he making payments? Who knows. Now you multiply his debt by looking at US and foreign banks…..Maybe that’s why he is afraid to show his tax returns. All the other presidents did because they had nothing to hide.
Now we have established that Mr Trump is not a good businessman: too many bankruptcies and outstanding loans.
Not a politician: that’s why a lot of people voted for him.
Not a doctor: he himself said that more than once. Still he continues to give medical advice (ouch)
Not a team player: you have to agree with him or he fires you
Oh well, so what is he? (I know I am asking for it with this question!)
Wear your mask, pay your bills on time and don’t take medical advice from Mr Trump
