Residents on John Street, Teal Circle, Paul Street, and Timothy Street (across from the Wood School) have answered the call in a BIG WAY to help parents who are taking their kids out on a Teddy Bear Hunt. It’s been a fun thing for parents to take their kids out for a ride, or a walk in the neighborhood and look for Teddy Bears in windows, on fences, or other places in people’s yards. Other neighborhoods are also participating.
We have it on good authority that you can spot at least one on Judson Drive (off Gellette Road in East Fairhaven), Brae Road (near Wood School) and Reservation Road (off Sconticut Neck Road), and Dogwood Street (on West Island). Also keep an eye out for penguins and monkeys, and…well, who knows what else? Happy hunting, everyone! Photos courtesy of Erica Gaudreau, John Street neighborhood.
