Acushnet Town Clerk Pamela Labonte was sure to maintain a safe distance when she administered the oath of office to two new part time police officers.
Dominik Sullivan-Souza and Nathaniel Turgeon took the oath on Friday, 3/27/19, at the Aucshnet Police Station, and should be starting their field training by now.
“Please join me in WELCOMING, our two newest Part-time officers, Officer Dominik Sullivan-Souza and Nathaniel Turgeon,” reads a post on the Acushnet Police Department Facebook page on 3/27/20. “Keep an eye out for them as they will soon begin their Field Training!! Welcome to the force gentlemen!”
“It’s always a pleasure to swear or new officers in!” wrote Ms. Labonte in an email.
