Due to the Coronavirus Public Health Emergency the Acushnet Rabies Clinic scheduled for Sunday is canceled.
Dr. Gaumont from Acushnet Animal Hospital, 265 Main St., will offer rabies vaccinations for Acushnet Residents, by appointment only, beginning on Thursday, March 19th & Monday – Thursday until April 16th from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.
Vaccinations cost: $10.00 (cash only) per pet with NO office visit fees
Appointments can be made by contacting Acushnet Animal Hospital at (508) 998-3004
One (1) & three (3*) year rabies vaccines available. If your pet is currently vaccinated, bring the current vaccination documentation and a 3 year rabies vaccination will be issued.
In addition, the Town of Acushnet Annual Dog Licensing Deadline is extended until June 1, 2020. Dog Licenses can be obtained by mail by sending a check payable to the Town of Acushnet, for the appropriate fee: $10, Altered; $15.00 Unaltered; $20.00, 3-4 Dog Kennel; $50.00, 5-15 Dog Kennel; $100.00, 15+ Dog Kennel
