The New Bedford Women’s Center sponsored a candlelight vigil, march, and speakers program on 10/22/19 to remember the victims of domestic violence. October is domestic violence awareness month, an opportunitiy to join the conversation and show that we care about victims of dometic violence. The Clothesline Project hung t-shirts in the First Unitarian Church, each one color coded to show what kind of violence the victim suffered, including abuse and murder.
