“Trifles”
by Susan Glaspell; Directed by Stephanie LeBlanc. John Wright has been murdered! The main suspect of the wicked crime? His wife. As the County Attorney, Sheriff Peters, and neighboring farmer Mr. Hale scour the home for clues, the real detectives turn out to be Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters. What they discover leaves lots of questions and few answers, not just about the murder of John Wright but about justice and equality for women and oppressed people everywhere.
“A Pound On Demand”
by Sean O’Casey; Directed by Lawrence R. Houbre, Jr. A drunk and his somewhat sober sidekick must settle the matter of his account in a Dublin post office. They are after one more pound to spend at the pub. Their efforts are thwarted by a woman attempting to post a letter, and a clerk who is suspicious of the two men
