TOWN OF FAIRHAVEN COMMITTEE VACANCIES
The Town of Fairhaven is seeking residents to serve on three committees.
• The Town of Fairhaven is seeking one Fairhaven Resident to serve on the Fairhaven Council on Aging Board of Directors to fill a term that will expire in May 2021. For information on the Council on Aging Board please visit our website at: https://www.fairhaven-ma.gov/council-aging
• The Town of Fairhaven is seeking Fairhaven Residents to serve on the Sustainability Committee for a term of one year. There are openings for One Full time Member and Three Alternate Members. • The Town of Fairhaven is seeking Two Fairhaven Residents to serve on the Fairhaven Capital Improvement Planning Committee to fill terms that will expire in May 2022. One resident is needed who is experienced in the management of construction activities and one resident who is knowledgeable about the Town’s needs in the areas of open space and recreation facilities or activities. The Capital Improvement Program was established for land purchases, construction and renovation of buildings, major equipment and machinery purchases, road and drainage reconstruction, and the construction and reconstruction of special facilities such as local school projects, sewer and water mains, and water treatment and sewage disposal facilities.
