Acushnet will be celebrating its 40th Apple Peach Festival on Saturday and Sunday September 7th and 8th 2019. The festival celebrates the harvest season with music, food, and entertainment. This year, the festival will mark 40 years of celebrating the town’s history of love for fall harvest. The festival grounds behind the Long Plain Museum located at 1203 Main Street, Acushnet, MA opens Saturday for crafts, food, and fun. The hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.The parade takes place on Sunday, 9/8 at 10 am and kicks off at Pope Park and arrives at the festival grounds around 11 a.m. Parking is free (donations are accepted), and there are shuttle buses available from the Acushnet Middle School located at 708 Middle Road, Acushnet, MA.
