On Friday, 8/9, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. the New Bedford Art Museum will host a celebration in Clasky Common Park. Join us for music, b-ball, and ice cream! Starting at 11 a.m. TrueBounce breaks in the court with a 3 on 3 tournament while DJ Frankie spins.
NB Parks, Rec., & Beaches will be providing free lunch until noon and NB School of Yoga will be running free sessions in the park. At noon 3rd Eye’s dance crew Mos D3F takes the stage while the OXCart provides free ice cream for the kids.
This is a FREE, family-friendly event and we hope to see you there!
This summer New Bedford Art Museum/ArtWorks!, artist Maria Molteni, and partners launched Creative Courts, a transformative art mural-style court project. The colorful mural-style courts will serve as beacons for community engagement, as they are public spaces that meet more than just one need.
