Thank you all for your kind words on the death of my sister Chris. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness, and my family does, too.
Although we all know that death is a part of life, it does not make it any easier. All we can do is try to enjoy each day as much as we can.
Now, onto the news.
No, Mr. Miguel, that’s not how it works (see page 4). Yes, you can sue anyone you want for anything in this country, but don’t plan on winning. This is a legitimate story, and it’s not even an anonymous source.
You would’ve been better served by answering my questions in a good-faith way instead of instantly threatening a lawsuit.
I have to say, I’ve been threatened by scarier people than you, richer people than you, and people with bigger complaints than you.
See you in court.
Oh, yeah, and expect to pay my court expenses and a big chunk of money just for wasting my time.
Moving on…
It IS summer (okay, not officially yet), with all kinds of fun events this weekend and every weekend.
This Sunday is the Father’s Day Road Race in Fairhaven. That is one BIG event, so if you’re a runner, you’re probably in it. If you KNOW a runner, you probably know someone in it.
It’s lots of fun, even if you don’t run. Just hanging out on the middle school grounds waiting for the race to start, watching the runners come in, with all the other activities around, is plenty of fun.
So, check it out if you can.
There’s all kinds of other stuff this weekend, too, something for everyone. So, take advantage of expected good weather and enjoy one of these events. You’ll feel connected to your community, and have lots of fun, too. Until next week then, see ya,
