Calling all vendors SC Pride
South Coast Pride is Saturday, June 1 from 11-4 p.m. in Buttonwood Park, New Bedford. Food and business artisan vendor space is available for $50 per 10×10 space (Nonprofit organizations are free). Sponsorships and program book ads are also available.
Visit www.sclgbtqnetwork.org to register online. The deadline for ads, sponsors and vendors is May 3, so please sign up early. All proceeds benefit the South Coast LGBTQ Network (a 501c3 nonprofit organization) and programs and services for LGBTQ individuals and families across the age spectrum in the Southcoast.
South Coast Pride is a fun packed, family friendly day with live entertainment from 11-4 p.m., food vendors, small business and artisan booths, resources and activities for kids. The event is a free, all-inclusive community event open to the public, LGBTQ, families, friends and Allies, and is sponsored by the South Coast LGBTQ Network. The day has a healthy start with the New Bedford Wellness Walk around Buttonwood Park at 9am, followed by free Yoga in the Park at 9:45am. Mark your calendar now for PRIDE 2019 to enjoy the “loud and proud” festivities as we celebrate the LGBTQ culture and the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City on June 28, 1969. This day is a symbol of the resistance to social and political discrimination that inspired solidarity among LGBTQ individuals and communities and the current LGBTQ civil rights movement.
