The Fairhaven Community Media — Channel 95 recently announced two new cooking shows both starting in February, The Family Table and Cooking with the Grandkids.
The Family Table is produced by Fairhaven resident Kathy Melanson, and episodes will be filmed in her home kitchen. She will be sharing recipes that have been in her family for years in a monthly show.
Cooking with the Grandkids is hosted and produced by Fairhaven’s Council on Aging Director, Anne Silvia. The purpose of the show is to bring grandparents together with their grandchildren to share memories and create new ones. The episodes will be filmed at the Fairhaven Senior Center.
The Family Table officially started running last week on Fairhaven Community Media — Channel 95, while the other is in the final editing stages and is scheduled to run soon. The shows will play on Channel 95 as follows: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10-11 a.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays 2-3 p.m.; and Saturday, 11:30 a.m.– 12:30 p.m.
