NY abortion law immoral
While New York’s new abortion law doesn’t allow the killing of a late term baby who is born alive. It removes all legal requirements to keep the baby alive. The mother would have the right to deny any medical attention to keep the baby alive for virtually any reason. While you can say to let the baby die a natural death is not infanticide I would say it is when you deny attention.
In the 70+ years the lord has given me to live in this great country, I never though that morality can sink so low as this. I am not one to judge people to say one group is better than another but that being said let’s put blame where it belongs. The states which have this legislation are largely Democratic states whose politicians champion human rights when its convient for them and look the other way when its not. The Obamas Clintons and senator Warren were all against late term abortion from what I know they since have changed.
Where is the Catholic Church or for that matter any other Bible believing church that believes that life is a God given right not to be taken on somebody’s whim. Sad to say the Catholic Church which in the past was in the forefront fighting for the rights of the unborn as well as many so called Christian Churchs have, thankfully not all. I know there are others however there is one I would call attention to, Samaritans purse where Franklin Graham who is Billys Graham’s son has been steadfast in holding to their Bible based beliefs on homosexuality and abortion and speaks out unabashed on these issues.
Say what what you will to his credit in his state of the union address, president Trump spoke up on this issue. He has proprosed legislation which I believe he hopes either the senate or congress will take up to prohibit this hideous practice. On other issues he has steadfastly protected Christians from being sued or fined because they refused to engaged in practices which violate their Christian beliefs like being forced to bake a cake for a gay couple or forcing nuns of the Catholic church to provide birth control when it violates their Christian beliefs. by appointing judges to the Supreme court who are constitution judges and don’t legislate from the bench.
