The book chosen for December’s book discussion is “The Soul of an Octopus” by Sy Montgomery. The author explores the life of an octopus living in an aquarium and one living in the ocean. Readers will be amazed by the animal’s intelligence based on touch, its cleverness, and the way an octopus connects with humans.
The selection will be discussed at Fairhaven’s Millicent Library, 45 Center St., on Thurs., 12/13, at 10:00 a.m. in the Library’s meeting room, Walnut Street entrance
The discussion is free and open to the public. The book is available at the library or at the library’s web-site, SAILS. For more info, call Norma Markey at 508-993-3745.
