The book chosen for November’s book discussion is “The Excellent Lombards” by Jane Hamilton.
It is the story of a family run apple farm and the “tangled web” of family members who live on it. Change is inevitable and urbanization threatens the future for the next generation.
The selection will be discussed at Fairhaven’s Millicent Library, 45 Center St., Fairhaven, on Thurs., 11/15, at 10:00 a.m., in the library’s meeting room accessible through the Walnut Street entrance.
