Natasha Moniz, a 17-year-old senior at Fairhaven High, is Acushnet’s 39th Miss Apple Peach! She was chosen at the pageant on Friday, 9/7, at Ford Middle School.
She won a crown, sash, earrings, gift certificate to Gloria & Co and $200. Natasha was also selected as Most Photogenic.
She got busy right away, spending time at the Apple-Peach Festival on both days, and participating in the parade on Sunday.
She also attended Acushnet’s 9-11 services on Tuesday, 9/11, and participated in a neighborhood clean-up on Saturday.
She looks forward to making many appearances this year.
The other contestants were Layla Almeida,14, and Camryn Reed, 18.
