Free Machine Technology & Advanced Manufacturing Training. The Greater New Bedford Workforce Board in Partnership with Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School (GNBRVTHS) are making available a training program that is consistent with the goals and philosophy of the Baker-Polito Administration’s Workforce Skills Cabinet.
Area residents from Dartmouth, New Bedford, Acushnet, Lakeville, Fairhaven, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Freetown, Lakeville, and Wareham are encouraged to apply
Classes start September 4, 2018. This is a 90-day cycle with normal daytime school hours.
Interested candidates must be serious, committed and ready to work a full-time job at the completion of the program.
Career Paths include: Master Machinist, CNC Machine Operation, CAD/CAM Design, Mold and Die Making, Engineering Technician
Prerequisites: Serious, committed and ready for work upon completion of the program, Basic math, reading and writing skills, Basic computer skills, Pass CORI, Ages 18+ and high school diploma or equivalent
