Acushnet welcomed three new police officers to the ranks last week. Officer Michael Lajoie, Officer Kevin Martins and Officer Tyler Lopes were sworn in on June 19 in the company of Chief Michael Alves and Sergeant Keith Ashley. Acushnet residents should already be seeing the new officers on patrol.
“Please join us as we wish them the best of luck and a long and safe career at the APD!” wrote the Acushnet Police Department on its Facebook page.
