The North Fairhaven Open Air Market closed out its season with a Fall Fest at Livesey Park on Saturday, 10/24/26, featuring a full complement of vendors. The day also featured pumpkin painting, a bounce house, music by Dave, and a lot of young’uns in costume just waiting for the Horribles Parade and costume contest at 5 p.m. that day (see page 12).
Andrew Romano, organizer of the Open Air Market and President of the North Fairhaven Improvement Association (NFIA), said the event was co-sponsored by Mrs. Jackson and KC Confections.
Most vendors said it was very busy most of the day, but a few said it was not a spending crowd.
“It’s all about the kids today,” said Derek Robinson of Half-Blind Woodworking, who had a basket with free candy out for the kids.
The NFIA sponsors the market and other free events in North Fairhaven. They are an all volunteer organization and new members are welcome. They meet once a month at 267 Adams St., Fairhaven. Find them on Facebook to learn more.
