Fairhaven Harbormaster Saved the Day
Huge shout-out to Fairhaven Harbor Master Tim Cox!
I want to publicly thank Harbor Master Tim Cox for completely saving the day for my family. Before I even arrived at the dock with the boat, Tim was already there helping my daughter safely back up the truck and trailer to the water.
When I did get to the ramp, the wind was blowing us right toward the rocks and our shifter broke.
Tim didn’t miss a beat. He stepped in with quick thinking and calm control to help us get the boat out safely. He directed me to throw him a line at the stern and pulled me in where I could get onto the trailer. He even got in the water like it was nothing.
Without him I wouldn’t have been able to get the boat out of the water . I just honestly can’t thank him enough.
We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated, kind, and professional person looking out for our community.
