Leaf Walk
Fall is here! Join us for a short walk on Wednesday, September 30th, to collect leaves, then we’ll return to the library to create leaf stamp art. Starts at 10:30 am. For kids ages 3+. No registration required!
Movie on the Lawn
Join us for a Sunset Cinema Movie on the MFPL Lawn! We will be showing “Night at the Museum” at 6pm on September 30th, with a run time of 1 hour & 48 minutes. Bring chairs to lounge on, a blanket to keep warm, and some snacks, to fully enjoy the movie experience. This event is designed for community members of all ages, no registration required.
Book Sale
The Friends of the Mattapoisett Library invite book lovers of all ages to their upcoming Fall Book Sale on Saturday October 3rd from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Library Community Room at 7 Barstow Street, Mattapoisett. This event is a great opportunity to find gently used books at affordable prices while supporting the library’s valuable programs and activities.
In preparation for the sale, the Friends of the Mattapoisett Library will also be accepting book donations on Thursday, October 1st and Friday October 2nd, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Community members are encouraged to donate gently used books to help make the event a success. In addition donations of jewelry will also be accepted in preparation for the annual winter jewelry sale.
All proceeds from the sale directly benefit the library, funding programs, events, and resources that enrich the Mattapoisett community.
