Our sailing community is gearing up for an exciting 2027 season on the water, and we are looking for additional passionate members to join our “Sunfish Racing Committee”.
Whether you are an experienced racer, a casual sailor, or someone who loves being involved on the race management side, this is the opportunity for you.
Why Join the Committee?
• Be Part of the Action: Help organize local fleet races, training days, and regattas.
• Support the Fleet: Ensure safe, organized, and competitive racing for sailors of all skill levels.
• Build Camaraderie: Work closely with other enthusiasts and share your love for the iconic Sunfish.
What We Need Help With
• On-the-Water Operations: Managing start lines, setting courses, and finishing races from the committee boat.
• Shore Operations: Handling registration, scorekeeping, and event coordination.
• Mentorship: Welcoming new racers and helping expand our local fleet.
No race committee experience is required — we are happy to provide guidance and show you the ropes!
