The second annual Taste of Portugal fund-raiser for the Fairhaven Lions Club was a “huge success,” according to the club’s post on its Facebook Page.
“Thank you to everyone who came out to join us, everyone who donated raffle items, flowers, food & beverages etc. Also a great big thank you to our amazing Lions family for all their hard work! We cannot forgot our cook Tony Abreau and our fantastic dancers, as well as our amazing DJ Even and lastly Thank you to the COA for allowing us the use their center. Hope to see you all again next year!”
The dinner featured a traditional Portuguese dinner, choice of cacoila or chicken, music, raffles and more.
The event was held at the Fairhaven Senior Center on Saturday, 8/29/26, and approximatelyl 100 people joined in the fun.
