The Fairhaven Community Preservation Committee is accepting applications for the FY28 funding round. The FY28 Community Preservation Submission Guidelines and Application Forms are available on the Town’s Community Preservation Committee Webpage – https://www.fairhaven-ma.gov/community-preservation-committee.
Since 2006, the Fairhaven CPC has appropriated over $8,400,000 that have created 126 affordable housing units, supported another 362 affordable housing units, protected over 755 acres, created and maintained several recreation facilities, and restored 60 historic preservation projects.
Activities that can be funded are:
• Acquisition, creation, and preservation of Open Space.
• Creation, preservation, and support of Community Housing.
• Acquisition, creation, and preservation of Historic Resources.
• Acquisition, creation, and preservation of land for Recreational Use.
The Deadline for CPC applications is Friday, October 2, 2026 by 11:00 AM.
