Request for Qualifications Design & Engineering Services
The Town of Acushnet is seeking responses from qualified firms for Design and Engineering services, as defined by Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 7C, Section 44-58, to provide Design Services for the planning, design and construction of the new Acushnet River Valley Golf Course Clubhouse. The Town is seeking the services of a Designer to provide architectural and engineering design services including, but not limited to, schematic design, design development, construction bid documents, cost estimates, permitting, and bidding services and construction administration and closeout services. All applicants must submit in conformance with the RFQ document, which is available by email request to Jorge Figueiredo, RTA Architects + OPM at jorge@rt-architects.com. In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, the fee for professional services will be negotiated based on a not to exceed limit.
There will be an on-site briefing session at 2:00 PM on September 1, 2026 at the golf course property (685 Main Street, Acushnet, MA 02743). Sealed Proposals are due in the Office of the Town Administrator (122 Main St., Acushnet, MA 02743) no later than 2:00 PM on September 10, 2026.
The Town’s Board of Selectmen is the awarding authority. The Selectmen reserve the right to waive any informalities and to accept or reject any and all proposals and to award the contract as deemed to be in the best interest of the Acushnet River Valley Golf Course and the Town of Acushnet.
