Town of Fairhaven – Senior and Recreational Center Roof Replacement 227-229 Huttleston Ave., Fairhaven, MA 02719
The Town of Fairhaven, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors and File Sub Bids for the construction of the Senior Center Recreational Center Roof Replacement in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared for rebid by Stephen Kelleher Architects, Inc.
The Project consists of: Replacing 12,433 s.f. of asphaltic roof shingles and its underlayment and 7,113 s.f. of EPDM roof membrane and associated insulation/underlayment and all associated flashing and drains to the 10th Edition of the Massachusetts State Building Code (MSBC).
The work is estimated to cost $500,000.
Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.
General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work: General Building Construction and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed Update Statement (CQ3).
Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the trades listed below and bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder’s Update Statement.
SUBTRADES Roofing – Asphalt and EPDM
This project is being electronically bid. All bids must be prepared and submitted online through Projectdoc. com. Hard copy bids will not be accepted by the Awarding Authority.

Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available electronically at no cost on Projectdoc.com under Project ID #261203, beginning August 5, 2026.
General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Town of Fairhaven MA.
No Bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of thirty (30) day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays, after the date set for the bid opening thereof.
