The Unitarian Universalist Society of Fairhaven welcomes its new minister, the Rev. C.J. McGregor, on August 1.
He will lead his first service at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at the Unitarian Memorial Church, Center and Green streets. His sermon topic is “Hard to Hope.”
In Rev. McGregor’s previous post, he was district minister for 26 congregations in London and the southeast of England.
During his more than 20 years of ministry, he has served as minister for congregations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Florida. He also was director of religious education for a congregation in Massachusetts for several years.
Raised in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, Rev. McGregor has a degree in education from Mater Dei College and a Master of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School at Yale University.
Children are welcome at the service. A coffee hour will follow.
