July 5 marks the 54th annual Cape Verdean Recognition Parade starting at Buttonwood Park on Sunday, July 5, at 11:00 AM, which is immediately followed by Kultura Fest.
The procession parade begins at Buttonwood Park (Union Street), ending at the Cape Verdean-American Veterans Hall (561 Purchase St). The Parade will be followed with Kultura Festa: Live music performances, cultural food, clothing and craft vendors, and community togetherness celebrating 51 years of Cape Verdean Independence.
