Registration is still open for this year’s monumental milestone — the Semiquincentennial (250th Anniversary) of the United States! To celebrate this historic occasion, the July 4th Celebration Team is planning an unforgettable day of patriotism, pageantry, and community pride. If you have already signed up, Thank you! If not, secure your spot by June 26.
We are also thrilled to announce that the Fairhaven Veterans Services Office is proudly sponsoring this year’s landmark event!
Our goal for MA250: Fairhaven’s Revolutionary Fourth is to host a record-breaking number of marchers, floats, and vintage vehicles. Whether you represent a local business, a neighborhood, a non-profit, a youth sports team, or just want to march with your family, we want you to be a major part of it!
Official Schedule of Events (July 4th)
• 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Flag Raising Ceremony Kick off Independence Day with the traditional raising of the “Big Flag” at Fairhaven High School.
• 8:45 a.m. Antique Car Cruise Vintage vehicles will depart from the high school, cruising through the streets of Fairhaven to join the parade procession.
• 9:00 a.m. Independence Day Parade Steps Off The main parade officially departs from the corner of Washington Street and Green Street, marching down Green Street toward historic Fort Phoenix.
• 10:00 a.m. Fort Phoenix Ceremony The festivities conclude at Fort Phoenix with our annual ceremony, featuring special musical selections by the Shepherd Center for Performing Arts and the traditional cannon salute fired by the Fairhaven Village Militia.
How to Register & Participate
Registration is free and simple, but spaces are filling up! Secure your spot in this historic procession:

• Antique Car Cruise Participants: If you own a vintage vehicle and would like to roll or ride in the pre-parade car cruise, please contact coordinator John Medeiros directly at (508) 990-0000 for registration and staging details.
Note on Logistics: Once your registration form (https://tinyurl.com/34pas3nj) is submitted, the event committee will contact you a few days prior to July 4th with your specific check-in times, line-up locations, and staging instructions.
